This afternoon I gave a tour of the Pruitt-Igoe site to a group of bicyclists en route to see The Pruitt-Igoe Myth. Myth meets reality, big time, on the 33 wooded vacant acres of the site. Here are few scenes. – M.R.A.

I wonder if there’s any possibility of turning the site into a nature preserve / park? Who owns the land? City? State? Feds?
Andy, the site is owned by the city’s Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority. So essentially it’s city-owned.
Who was the bicycle group? I would have liked to come on this tour!
