The website features photographs of abandoned places along with narratives on the anonymous site creator’s experiences visiting and photographing the places. Most of the locations featured on Sonic Atrophy are in the St. Louis region, but some are located in other places including Peoria and Cairo, Illinois and Gary, Indiana. Visit the website here.
